Notes: Due to the rear seats being made into hatches, the air-tight hull of Polycraft was breached. Because it could no longer be relied upon to give air-tight buoyancy when flooded, we needed to come up with a solution for it to pass survey. We inserted 2 x 2.2 metre lengths of Max size Collar inside the inner chambers of the double-skinned hull, which gave ample flotation, allowing the boat to pass survey first time.
Hello there I have a tuff tender old style . I have cut hatches into the two back sections and one at the front . I love the Kapten collar never had one but I can see the advantages great job . I use the Tuffy as a tender I also want to use it to fish out to sea . And want it to be as safe as possible. What are your honest thoughts? And what cost would it be ?
