Notes: Due to the rear seats being made into hatches, the air-tight hull of Polycraft was breached. Because it could no longer be relied upon to give air-tight buoyancy when flooded, we needed to come up with a solution for it to pass survey. We inserted 2 x 2.2 metre lengths of Max size Collar inside the inner chambers of the double-skinned hull, which gave ample flotation, allowing the boat to pass survey first time.
