Collars provided are 2.8m long
If you have a V-nose punt or swept-up chine designed boat, you may not need the full-length kit for your boat. We generally deduct/minus 30cm off the overall length of the boat to provide an ample length Collar for these boats. V-nose punts can only have the Collars fitted to the straight sides, whereas Swept-up chine shaped boats can get a little further forward. Examples of these boats below (but pictures are often bigger than 2.5-2.7m long).

Flat sided fibreglass boat - Collar can be glued on
If your boat is flat sided and fibreglass, such as an EzyTopper, you can choose to GLUE on the Collars. Instead of hardware we supply a cartridge of T-Rex Power Fast Grab adhesive with instructions on how to glue them on.
Essentially, you just need a few straps and a long length of timber to help squeeze and hold the Collar against the boat while the glue dries.

Walker Bay's 8ft & 10ft can only have the Mini Collars - but wow, what an improvement!
Walker Bays can only have a Mini Collar due to the step-out press on the side of the hull. The Mini Collar perfectly sits under this large press which helps lock-it in place.
We've got special PDF instructions for the Walker Bay tenders, so feel free to ask for them to be emailed to you.
Best fitted on a trailer - so if you don't have one, we suggest borrowing one for a week while you install it, as you'll need something to anchor the ratchet straps to.
